School Uniform Policy
ALL STUDENTS MUST BE IN PROPER UNIFORM EVERY DAY!!
Duckrey School concerns itself with the appropriateness of student dress as it relates to the climate of our school, which effects learning and development of wholesome attitudes. Our students are expected to be dressed neatly while they are in school. There is a mandatory dress code at Duckrey. Students are to wear uniforms every day during the school year.
Students who do not comply with the dress code:
Will be asked to change clothing
Will be asked to cover the non-complying clothing
Will be asked to call home to have their school uniform brought to school
Repeated infractions will result in disciplinary action. Parents may refer to the Student Code of Conduct for additional dress code information.
Clothing should fit, be neat and clean, and conform to standards of safety, good taste and decency. Clothing that exposes cleavage, private parts, the midriff, undergarments, or that is otherwise sexually provocative, is prohibited. Examples of prohibited clothing include, but are not limited to: sagging or low-cut pants, low-cut necklines that show cleavage, tube tops, halter tops, backless blouses or blouses with only ties in the back, clothing constructed of see-through materials, and head coverings unless required for religious or medical purposes. Students’ clothing not being washed will not be accepted as an excuse for not wearing a uniform.
K – 8 Khaki pants, skirt, jumper, or capri pants with hunter green or white collared buttoned shirt.
Failure of parents and students to follow the directive will result in the following actions:
1. Phone call to parent to bring in proper uniform to school for their child.
2. Student will be required to change into a uniform provided by the school for the day in order to attend class.
3. Detention or loss of privileges
